Lotion bar for autumn

Lotion bars

A lotion bar is actually a solid hydrating bar. When rubbed on the skin, the heat from your body starts to gradually melt the product, resulting in a moisturizing layer that helps to soften and soothe dry skin.

INGREDIENTS

100 ml of coconut oil

80 grams of Shea butter

80 grams of beeswax

4 tablespoons of dried lavender (optional)

10 drops lavender essential oil

METHOD

Combine the ingredients in a glass bowl. Place this bowl over a small saucepan with around an inch of water in it. Bring the water to a boil and melt the ingredients. Remove from heat. Stir the mixture thoroughly. Pour the mixture into the molds and leave to cool and harden. Once they have hardened, you can remove them from the molds.
